Our Residents

Our Residents

Our residents have complex physical disabilities including mental health, learning disabilities, Autism and associated neurological conditions.

They require support with all aspects of daily living, including mobility, use of ceiling track hoist, monitoring of all moving & handling to maintain their safety.

Our guiding principles

No matter what level of disability we can maximise our residents ability to be independent.

We believe in meeting:

  • Emotional needs - Dignity & Privacy
  • Giving choice - Quality of experience & fulfilment
  • Encouraging autonomy & Individuality - Equality and Diversity
  • Respecting rights - Self esteem

To enable everyone to maximise their independence irrespective of their disability.

Comprehensive in-house activities

We have comprehensive in-house, community activities. We support the residents to maintain social interaction within the home and wider community. Social plans identify what activities residents enjoy both individually or part of a group, which enhances their daily life and brings fulfilment.

Care & Support plans

Residents are predominantly wheelchair dependant, with complex care needs. Their individual plan of care and support describes how their care should be delivered.

Emotional & Social Wellbeing

Individual plans of care, social activities plans and financial plans are devised and agreed with residents, families or significant others, that ensure their emotional & social wellbeing is met.

These support plans ensure residents are able to be as independent as they can be, irrespective of the residents’ level of disabilities.
