Meet The Team
Carole Ackers is a registered nurse who holds a formal management qualification and has over 20 years experience in Senior Management in a residential setting.
Carole is supported by a team of Care Managers who hold either the Registered Managers Award or NVQ level 5 in care and a team of 42 staff including; an Office/Quality Manager, an Activities Organiser, Office Administrators, a Chef, two relief chef's, Care staff, Housekeeping staff and a Handyman.
To ensure a continual high standard of care and support there is a comprehensive training programme that reflects mandatory training such as Fire Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and specific training that meets the needs of the residents who live at Mayfield Court.
Senior care staff are all trained in the safe administration of medicines and are a highly skilled group of staff with the appropriate skills and competency to undertake their role; all care staff have had drug administration awareness training.
A large number of care and other support staff have their national Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or are in the process of studying for the award to ensure that we maintain compliance with current and future standards in care)
