CQC: Care Quality Commission: Outstanding Rating

In August 2016 Mayfield Court was subject to an unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The result of the inspection was an overall location rating of OUTSTANDING.

The Board and Management of Mayfield Court are delighted with this rating and want to thank all their fantastic staff for their dedication, hard work and commitment to the residents of the Mayfield Court.

Music Time Project Donation

Mayfield was recently awarded £250.00 by Police Mutual Assurance Company for a Musical Project called 'Music Time' we will be purchasing percusion instruments and running musical sessions based around Chair Based Excersises.

VE Day Celebrations

Last Friday, 8th May 2015, was VE Day!! On this day we celebrate Europe's victory in World War ll. As we had a lot on over the weekend, we celebrated VE day on Monday with a Vintage Style tea party, we had cupcakes, banana loaf and a whole variety of biscuits!! It was lovely!!

Donations

We have received some very kind donations recently from Katie Dalton on behalf of Roger and Maureen Mckay on behalf of Francine.

Maureen thanked residents and staff for the care and friendship for Francine she was very happy with us. Maureen said she would continue to work with us and that we are part of her family. The donations will go towards getting our very own cinema room.

Residents meetings

Every six weeks we have a residents meeting for all of the residents to get together to discuss whats going on in mayfield and also to raise any poins or any concerns residents may have we also have a staff member of the month going on this month it was awarded to vikkie Adele and Dawn who have took on extra work while Carole hasn't been around due illness well done girls.
